Rise of the Solar Empire is Dynamic Interplay’s fourth net-album release and is my first adventure into a more danceable album than any of my previous work.  I have worked on this album the better part of a year during 2007 and have focused on really stretching into my non-comfort zone with all  groove oriented tracks. At the same time this album also has a distinct spacey feel to it which has led me to go with the space theme for the naming and cover artwork. As I was writing these pieces my motivation shifted from simply writing some dance tracks to writing a quasi-story  of a space adventurer  experiencing  the rise of what is known to him has the Solar Empire. As is the case with all of my work, I like to think of this album as being hand made, if there is such a thing with electronic music. Everything was recorded live and performed by me in realtime.  These tracks were not pre-rendered or set with automation and everything was recorded “as-is” with no post editing. With that, I present to you the “Rise of the Solar Empire”.
